Dominoes Toys sponsor WZ volunteers
27/04/2011
UK Independent Toy Store of the Year, Dominoes Toys of Leicester has joined forces with Warning Zone by agreeing a deal to sponsor our volunteers for the next three years. The sponsorship package will pay for the recruiting, training and clothing costs for Warning Zone's volunteer team who play such an important role in delivering the charity's programme of educational activities.
Steven Sansom, Chairman at Dominoes Toys in High Street, Leicester said,
"It's great to be involved with this extremely worthwhile project. The way in which the centre is set up with these ‘real-life' situations and special effects is incredible. I think it's great that we can offer this kind of learning facility to children and our sponsorship will ensure that the organisation doesn't have to worry about funding for their Volunteers for a number of years."
Warning Zone is about to launch a campaign to recruit 30 to 40 new volunteers who will act as guides for the visiting school parties.
Chief Executive of Warning Zone, Sharon Binfield-Hill said,
"Sponsorship of our volunteer team by Dominoes Toys is really important to us. This means we can recruit, train and equip our new volunteers without cost to the charity. These are difficult times for both the business and voluntary sectors so it's great that another local company is willing to get behind our project that helps youngsters through what can be a tricky period in their lives."
