Each springtime, Warning Zone's parent charity, Leicestershire & Rutland Crimebeat, welcomes the new High Sheriffs of Leicestershire and Rutland as its patrons.

On 7th April, last year's High Sheriff of Leicestershire, Colonel Robert Martin handed over office to Resham Singh Sandhu, the first Sikh in the country to hold this ancient office.

The following day saw Peter Lawson inaugurated as High Sheriff of Rutland in a ceremony held at Oakham Castle followed by a service in the Oakham School Chapel. He takes over from Sarah Forsyth.
