Do I need any qualifications to volunteer?

No. We have volunteers from a wide range of ages and backgrounds. You will, of course, need to enjoy working with children and have a friendly and positive outlook. Volunteers also need to be able to supervise and communicate effectively and confidently with small groups of children. All applicants must be 18 or over, give the names of two referees and will be subject to a Criminal Records Bureau check; our young visitors' safety is paramount.

• Are you looking for a challenge?
• Do you want to help children really "learn for life"?
• Can you spare a little time?
• Do you want to be part of something different?

Warning Zone is pleased to announce that Dominoes Toys of 66 High Street Leicester, are sponsors of our volunteer team. Steven Sansom, Chairman of Dominoes said, "It's great to be involved with this extremely worthwhile project. I think it's great that we can offer this kind of learning facility to children and our sponsorship will ensure that the organisation doesn't have to worry about funding for their volunteers for a number of years."

Chief Executive of Warning Zone, Sharon Binfield-Hill said,  "Sponsorship of our volunteer team by Dominoes Toys is really important to us. This means we can recruit, train and equip our new volunteers without cost to the charity. It's great that another local company is willing to get behind our project that helps youngsters through what can be a tricky period in their lives."
